My TR6 is a modified 1974 model (serial number CF12681U)
Upgrades?
Some would call it butchery to modify a TR6, but not me!
With over 90,000 units built it's certainly not a Lotus or a Ferrari!
In my opinion a "1974 factory original" car handles like a pig and accelerates like the Goodyear blimp!
Engine
Modification of the engine compartment has been my primary focus on this car. Simply stated I'm trying to understand what
does and what does not make power in a TR6. Most of the modifications have been to the inlet side in an attempt to reduce inlet
restrictions and to increase fuel metering efficiency.
Stock engine configuration with the exception of the porting of the head.

Subaru GL10 seats - I simply couldn't resist buying comfortable seats for $50 / pair. At the time miata seats were not
widely available. Currently I would investigate miata as the first choice. There is a wonderful explaination on installing
miata seats in a triumph at: miata seats
